PBBM: Gov’t remains focused on serving the people
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday said the government continues to prioritize addressing the needs of the Filipino people amid present challenges.
“Sa kabila ng mga hamon na kinakaharap ng bansa, nananatiling nakatuon ang pamahalaan sa aming mandato at tungkuling maglingkod ng tapat,” President Marcos said during the distribution of land titles and financial assistance to farmers held in San Fernando City, Pampanga.
The President also said the government is committed to correcting processes that hinder national progress.
“Makakaasa kayo na inaayos at itinutuwid ang mga prosesong nagpapabagal at nakakaabala sa ating pag-unlad,” President Marcos said.
“Ang lahat ng ito ay isinusulong namin upang pangalagaan ang karapatan ng bawat Pilipino.”
The President called on Filipinos to unite and help the administration in implementing reforms for a better society.
“Hinihikayat ko ang lahat na ipamalas natin ang pagiging Bagong Pilipino—responsable, may malasakit, at magkakatuwang sa tunay na pagbabago. Magtulungan tayong isulong ang isang mas maunlad at makatarungang lipunan,” said President Marcos.
President Marcos led government agencies, including the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in the distribution of patents and financial aid.
The President said the DENR has awarded agricultural and residential free patents and special patents to 455 beneficiaries from Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Metro Manila, as well as deeds of sale to 65 beneficiaries from Taguig City.
The DSWD distributed PhP10,000 cash assistance while the Pampanga local government distributed family food packs to 2,970 farmer beneficiaries. | PND
